A lovesick 16-year-old German boy hopped on his bicycle and cycled more than 200 kilometres overnight to meet a girl he met on the Internet, police said.

警方表示，一名害相思病的16歲德國男孩跳上他的腳踏車，徹夜騎車超過200公里，為的就是要去見他在網路上認識的女孩。

They informed the boy's parents when he arrived dead tired at the police station in Bremen in the north of the country on Tuesday morning to ask for directions to Hamburg, where his love interest lives.

當這名男孩在週二早上筋疲力竭地抵達德國北部不來梅的警察局，詢問他愛慕的人所住的漢堡方向時，警方便通知這名男孩的家長。

The boy had not taken a map, money or food with him, said the police.

警方指出，這名男孩的身上並未攜帶地圖、金錢或食物。

His parents came to pick him up and took him back home to Hamm, in the western state of North-Rhine Westphalia.

男孩的雙親來此接他，然後把他帶回德國西部北萊茵─西發里亞邦的哈木。

The girl knew nothing about her suitor's exertions. He said he had wanted to surprise her.

這名女孩對於她的追求者的努力毫無所悉。這名男孩說，他想給女方一個驚喜。
