Tourism numbers to Zimbabwe have dipped by more than a quarter over the July to September months last year compared with the same period over 2004, a cause for "major concern" an official report has said.

和2004年同期相比，到辛巴威觀光旅遊的人次在去年7月至9月間減少了超過四分之一，一份官方報告表示這引起「高度關切」。

The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority （ZTA） released the report saying that tourist figures to the southern African country hit by economical and political hardship slipped by 27 percent in the third quarter compared to the previous year.

辛巴威觀光局（ZTA）發佈這項報告，指出第三季前往這個非洲南部國家觀光的人數受到經濟與政治困局的打擊，與前一年同期相比下跌了27%。

The ZTA -- set up to promote tourism to Zimbabwe which is suffering chronic forex and fuel shortages -- noted a general decrease in arrivals, "particularly from the overseas market."

ZTA成立宗旨是提振長期為外匯與燃料短缺所苦的辛巴威觀光業，該局在報告中指出整體入境人數減少，「特別是來自海外市場者」。

"The continous shrinking of this market is a major concern for the tourism industry as this is a high spending market which contributes a large proportion to foreign receipts," it said, giving no reasons for the slump.

「這個市場持續萎縮，受到觀光業高度關切，因為這是一個高支出的市場，占外匯收入很大的一個比重，」該局說，但未說明下滑的原因。
