A park in Hitler's hometown of Braunau, in western Austria, is to be named after a man executed by the Nazis during World War II for refusing to serve in the German Wehrmacht, according to the Austria Press Agency.

位在奧地利西部的希特勒家鄉布勞瑙的一處公園，將以一名在二次世界大戰期間因拒絕進入德國國防軍服役而遭納粹處決的男子之名來命名，據奧地利通訊社報導。

Franz Jaegerstaetter, a profoundly devout farmer from St. Radegund, near Braunau, refused to collaborate with the Nazi regime on religious grounds and was executed on August 9, 1943 in Brandenburg, on the outskirts of Berlin.

法蘭茲．耶格斯泰特，一名來自布勞瑙附近的聖拉迪岡的虔誠農夫，基於宗教理由拒絕與納粹政權同流，於1943年8月9日在柏林市郊的布蘭登堡遭處決。

Now, 63 years later, a park on the grounds of St. Josef hospital in Braunau will bear his name. His ashes were brought back to his hometown after World War II by two local Franciscan nuns, whose order now runs the hospital.

The inauguration ceremony, which will take place on August 8, will be attended by Austrian President Heinz Fischer, Jaegerstaetter's three daughters and his 93-year-old widow Franziska.
