Russian prosecutors recently filed criminal charges against a cult leader who promised to resurrect children who died in the 2004 Beslan school hostage crisis.

俄國檢察官最近向一名密教領袖提起刑事訴訟，這名領袖承諾要讓2004年比斯蘭學校人質危機中罹難的兒童復活。

The charges against Grigory Grabovoi, a selfproclaimed healer who claimed he could cure cancer and AIDS as well as bring people back to life, were brought after parents of those who died in the school massacre in the samll south Russian town demanded an investigation. Prosecutors said Grabovoi was being investigated for fraud in connection with his services.

格利哥里．格拉波沃伊是一名自稱可以治癒癌症和愛滋病，並可使人復活的信仰治療師。在那場俄國南部小鎮學校屠殺事件罹難者的父母要求調查之後，格拉波沃伊遭到起訴。檢方說，正就格拉波沃伊所提供的服務涉及詐欺加以調查。

Mothers of several children who died in the Beslan attack attended a meeting of Grabovoi's followers in September 2005, when he pledged to resurrect Beslan children by the following month.

Meeting with Grabovoi cost 1,000 rubles（US$35）per person for a group meeting and up to 40,000 rubles（US$1,350） for an individual interview,according to Russian media reports.

A total of 331 people died during the three-day ordeal at Beslan's School No.1, 186 of them children,after heavily armed militants took more than 1,100 hostages.

新聞辭典

cult︰密教（通常具有種種詭異儀式）；也有「詭異奇特的風格」之意，如cult film，指風格詭異奇特的電影。cult也有「崇拜」的意思，personal cult就是對政治領袖的「個人崇拜」。

resurrect：使復活，名詞是resurrection，resurrection of Jesus即是「耶穌復活」。

healer︰信仰治療師。本字的字根是heal，指「治癒」、「使癒合」，另一個衍生字是 healing，指和心靈有關的「療法」，如crystal healing就是水晶療法。
