Four robbers used a bulldozer to try to smash open a cash machine in a South African shopping mall but fled empty-handed when they were unable to open the safe, a news agency reported.

4名搶匪使用一具推土機，試圖壓碎打開南非一家購物中心裡的一台提款機，卻無法打開裡面的保險箱，空手而逃，一家新聞通訊社報導。

The gun-wielding thieves tied up two security guards at the shopping complex on the outskirts of the commercial capital Johannesburg before ramming the stolen bulldozer into the wall in which the cash machine was built, the report said.

這些持槍小偷在南非金融首都約翰尼斯堡郊區的這家購物中心裡，先將2名安全警衛綑綁起來，再駕駛偷來的推土機猛力撞進這部提款機外圍的牆壁，該報導指出。
