Russian President Vladimir Putin usually comes home at midnight, likes to drink yogurt and never discusses work with his family members, first lady Lyudmila Putin said in an interview published recently.

俄羅斯總統普廷通常要到午夜才回家，喜歡喝優格，從來不與家庭成員討論工作，（俄羅斯）第一夫人露德米拉．普廷在最近公佈的訪問中如是說。

Mrs. Putin, 48, described the former KGB operative as no less domineering at home than on the political stage and said she had to fight for her rights in the Putin family. While Putin probably listens now and then, she says, ``he never tells (me): 'Here I took your opinion into account.' ``

四十八歲的普廷夫人形容這位前格別烏特務在家中專橫的程度，不亞於在政壇上，並說她在家裡得奮力爭取自己的權利。普廷偶爾或許會聽她的意見，但她說，「他從來不告訴（我）『我會把你的意見列入考慮。』」

In the lengthy interview with three Russian newspapers, she also complained that her husband works late hours, forgetting that ``one needs not only to work, but also to live.''

新聞辭典

no less than：多過，至少有。no less than 有「多」的意思，至於not less than（不少於，至少有）則只是客觀陳述一項事實，沒有「多」的意思。例句：I invested no less than NT$100m in real estate.（我在房地產上至少投資了一百萬台幣。）

to fight for：為…而戰。例句：The tribe leader must fight for the survival of his people and tribe. （部族領袖必須為他的人民與部族的生存而戰。）

take…into account：把…列入考慮。例句：Some consumers don't take into account the actual source of the pirated goods.（有些消費者並不把仿冒品的真實來源列入考慮。）

not only…but also：不只…還有，意思跟連接詞and（與）一樣，但用法略有不同。例句：Video games not only harm children's eyes, but also distract them from study.（電玩不僅有害兒童眼睛，還會讓他們讀書分心。）
